Felberg Leaving a Charitable Legacy:
Fred Felberg moved to Oregon, but a part of him will forever remain in Pasadena. He left behind a charitable legacy, the Fred & Jean Felberg Endowment Fund that will perpetually support the community where Fred grew up, attended college, enjoyed a successful career and where Fred and Jean raised their three children.

The fund is invested for long term growth in the pooled portfolio of the Foundation and will provide an annual payout that can be given to charity. Fred has chosen to let the community foundation inform him about the changing needs in Pasadena since he won’t be living locally.

Maria Antonia M. Niven, know as Tony by her friends, had many blessings in her life. At the end of her life, her children wanted to recognize and honor their mother’s belief in giving back to her community.

They created the Maria Antonia M. Niven Endowment Fund at the Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF), an unrestricted fund that will support the grant making programs of the Foundation. After Mrs. Niven passed away in July, memorial contributions from friends and family added to the fund. In her obituary she was quoted to say, “Love is what it’s all about and I had it in abundance.” Through this charitable fund at PCF, Mrs. Niven’s generosity and love of this community will live on in perpetuity.
