The Pasadena Community Foundation offers the following grant programs:

Regular Grants Program
Restricted to capital and equipment grants for organizations serving Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre.  Grants given to non-profit agencies that have been in operation for at least two years.
  Average grant – up to $10,000
  Grant cycle – annual, deadline is first business day in March
  Application available in January
  Agencies can expect a response by late May
Major Grants Program
Restricted to capital and equipment grants for organizations headquartered in and serving Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre.  Grants given to non-profit, 501 ( c)3 agencies who have been in operation for at least two years.
  Average grant – up to $50,000
  Grant cycle – annual, deadline is first business day in March.
  Application available in January
  Agencies can expect a response by late May
The Virginia Krueger Great Ideas Grant Program
Provides funding for a new program or idea initiated by an agency serving Pasadena, Altadena or Sierra Madre.  Grants may be given to non-profit agencies or non-profit organizations with a fiscal sponsor.
  Average grant – up to $10,000
  Grant cycle – grant proposals accepted first business day in March or after that if funds are available. Agencies are encouraged to call PCF offices to discuss funding availability and expected response time.

Senior Grants Program
Provides funding for non-profit organizations in the city of Pasadena that provide assistance to the elderly.  Capital or program support considered.

number 5 The Yes, Virginia Fund
Grants given to non-profit agencies dedicated to improving the lives of children in the greater Pasadena community.  Grants are provided for toys, books and experiences for children on special occasions, from holidays or birthdays to unique circumstances
  Average grant $25 - $1,500
  Grant cycle – grant proposals accepted any time
