2011 Senior Grants

El Centro de Accion Social
$10,000- program support for Senior programs that target Latino community

Foothill Unity Center
$10,000- deliver of groceries to home bound senior clients

Pacific Clinics
$10,000- “emergency fund” to help low income seniors with mental health issues purchase needed items

Pasadena Beautiful
$10,000- re-landscape the west side of the Pasadena Senior Center

Rebuilding Together Pasadena
$10,000- program support to purchase needed material for home repairs for seniors

Southern California Presbyterian Homes
$10,000- Fall Prevention Program for Rosewood Court

The following grants were awarded in 2010 through the Senior Grants program of the Pasadena Community Foundation

2010 Senior Grants
Grants of up to $10,000 to support program or equipment needs for agencies serving seniors

Convalescent Aid Society
$10,000- 14 wheelchairs, 7 walkers, bath transfer benches, bath benches & raised toilet seats with arms

Friends of the Altadena Senior Center
$8,434- 1 laptop computer & case, 6 desktop computers & 4 printers

Pasadena Meals on Wheels
$10,000- program support for meals

Pasadena Senior Center
$10,000- provide 400 low income seniors with 3 pounds of fresh meat monthly

$10,000- fall prevention furniture

$9,999- 80 wheelchairs & 40 walkers

Hear Center
$9,302- free hearing screening program

Pacific Clinics
$10,000- program support for meals
