AGENCY PARTNER FUNDS

The Pasadena Community Foundation is committed to assisting non-profit agencies in the greater Pasadena community both through our grant programs and through opportunities for agencies to partner with the Foundation through Agency Partner Funds. Non-profit agencies can place their nascent endowments with the Pasadena Community Foundation and benefit from pooling their assets with the Foundation’s portfolio while receiving lower investment management fees.

Leadership PasadenaLeadership Pasadena has trained more than 140 emerging and experienced leaders from the private, public and nonprofit sectors.

Through the Community Project Fund, Leadership Pasadena graduates will be able to join together and apply for a grant that will help them leverage their know-how and resources to make a meaningful impact where it is needed in Pasadena. This fund, initiated through the generous support of Flintridge Foundation, will unleash the full potential of Leadership Pasadena’s growing Graduate Network to enrich our community life.

The Scholarship Fund, launched by Parsons Corporation, will provide a greater opportunity for people representing different voices and perspectives to participate in the Leadership Pasadena training model. Consequently, an even more diverse group of individuals will have the opportunity to engage in community-building through the efforts of the Graduate Network. www.leadershippasadena.org

South Pasadena Kiwanis and PCF Partner to Support Local Youth

Giving back to the South Pasadena community is one of the principal goals of the local South Pasadena Kiwanis Club that has just established an Endowment Fund with PCF. The endowment will help assure youth scholarships and awards for local students long into the future. The South Pasadena Kiwanis endowment is one of many component charitable funds managed by PCF which are pooled for investment purposes to achieve enhanced financial returns.

South Pasadena Kiwanis acknowledges the generous donations from the S. Paul Ward Family and the Walter Maus Family who provided financial support for the Endowment Fund.

Pasadena Art Alliance Establishes Endowment Fund

As part of their 50 year anniversary celebration, members of the Pasadena Art Alliance (PAA) have taken an important step.  To continue their legacy of support for contemporary visual art they have established the Pasadena Art Alliance Endowment Fund with the Pasadena Community Foundation.

Like many organizations that grow and mature, the Art Alliance chose their 50th year to reflect on their past and give thoughtful consideration to their future.  Through the endowment fund, Art Alliance members have made a commitment to their grant making programs in support of contemporary art in perpetuity.

“The Pasadena Art Alliance is 50 years young because of its extraordinary commitment to what happens in the arts now and in the future – a remarkable contribution to encourage the highest level of creativity in the world today.”

-Richard Koshalek, President, Art Center College of Design
