UNRESTRICTED FUNDS

Unrestricted funds allow you to support community priorities that have been identified by the directors of PCF and that are supported through the Foundation’s discretionary grants programs. This gives you the opportunity to benefit from our staff’s knowledge of local non-profits and to support projects that have been identified as area of need, now and in the future.

Named Endowment Funds

With an Unrestricted Endowment Fund, the minimum initial gift of $10,000 is invested in a professionally-managed portfolio. Grants are made annually from the fund. Such a fund supports the local grant making programs of the Foundation and sets up a charitable legacy that pays permanent tribute to the named donor.

Friends and Fellows Support

Through our annual giving program, the Foundation welcomes donations in any amount to support PCF’s grants to community non-profits. Donors who provide unrestricted annual support are recognized as Friends ($1 - $499) and Fellows ($500+).

Bequests

PCF has been the beneficiary of many bequests through the years. Unrestricted bequests give the Foundation the greatest latitude to apply charitable resources where they are needed most as the needs of the community change over time. Those who make provision for PCF in their estate plan will be recognized as a member of the Foundation’s Legacy Society.
