Legacy Society at the Pasadena Community Foundation
The Legacy Society allows us the opportunity to express our appreciation by acknowledging donors who make the Foundation part of their estate plan or who provide for perpetual support of our community through the establishment of an endowment fund.
Funding for the Future
To become a member of the Legacy Society of the Pasadena Community Foundation, all you need to do is inform us of the provision you have made for the Foundation through your will or trust or other estate planning means. The amount is not a factor and does not have to be disclosed. You many remain anonymous if you wish.
Establish a Permanent Endowment Fund
Alternatively, you can consider the establishment of an Endowment Fund for perpetual support of a cause you care about. As an advisor to this fund, you can recommend grants from the earnings and income to charities. The fund can be created in such a way as to provide perpetual support to specific charities or to a particular field of interest. You can also pass this legacy onto your children by naming them as successor advisors to the fund.
