PASADENA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WELCOMES NEWEST BOARD MEMBER
The Pasadena Community Foundation is pleased to welcome the newest member of its Board of Directors, Ann Dobson Barrett. A long-time Pasadena resident, Ann received her B.A. from Stanford University and her Masters in Library Science from the University of Texas. Before moving to Pasadena where she became a librarian in the Humanities and Social Science Library at Caltech, she completed an internship at the Yale University Library. She has been active as both a committee member and board member for many non-profit organizations such as the Junior League and Kidspace and is a Lifetime Trustee at Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School. The mother of two grown daughters, Ann and her husband, Olin have been particularly active in volunteering for organizations that benefit children and the arts. “Ann brings to PCF’s Board a deep knowledge of our community gained from her many philanthropic commitments, leadership experience and a love for Pasadena. We are so pleased to welcome her to the Foundation” says Jennifer Devoll, Executive Director of the Pasadena Community Foundation.
