The Board of Directors of the Pasadena Community Foundation proudly announce the appointment of Dave Davis as the newest member of the Board. Dave is last year’s president of the Tournament of Roses and a principal with Gamble, Jones, Morphy & Bent, one of Pasadena’s premier investment counsel firms. He has also served on the Board of Directors for PARAID, a private foundation founded by Jim Gamble which recently joined forces with the Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF).

As a former Board member of PARAID, Dave will provide continuity and leadership as PARAID transitions its services to the community foundation. “I am excited by the merger of two great organizations” Says Dave. “PARAID has provided a tremendous service to generous individuals in this community. I think that through the Pasadena Community Foundation, donors will have somenew options for creating longer term charitable legacies that can be passed on to the next generation.”

A graduate of the University of Southern California, “Dave has a long history of personal and professional experience that make him a strong addition to the leadership of our community foundation,” Says Jennifer DeVoll, Executive Director of the Pasadena Community Foundation. “We are delighted to welcome him and his commitment to and knowledge of the local community.”

Dave has participated in the work of numerous community organizations including the PasadenaPlayhouse where he served for a term as Board chair. He has also served on the Boards of the Arboretum Foundation, the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts, the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and the Pasadena Fire & Police Retirement System.

Dave and his wife, Holly, have two children, Jason and Jessica. They welcomed their first grandchild last December, just in time to ride with grandpa in the Rose Parade!
