PASADENA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WELCOMES NEW STAFF!
Jane Laudeman
Director of Charitable Gift Planning
The Pasadena Community Foundation is delighted to begin the New Year by welcoming its newest staff member, Pasadena resident, Jane Laudeman. “We could not have a more qualified and experienced person to fill a very important role at the Foundation,” says Executive Director, Jennifer DeVoll. “As our Director of Charitable Gift Planning, Jane will work with individuals and families who love Pasadena and want to create a charitable legacy for this community. We are so pleased to have her on board.”
With a bachelors of Arts degree in English from Stanford University and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Jane has spent the better part of her career working in the non-profit world. She has served as the Manager of Corporate Giving for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (1986-1989) and the Director of Development for the Pasadena Museum of History (1989-1993). Working as the Director of Alliance Affairs for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles (1993-1995), she managed high-level annual giving programs and support groups and directed fundraising for major annual events such as the museum’s well-known “Dinosaur Ball.” She rejoined the staff of the Pasadena Museum of History as their Executive Director in 1995 where she assumed responsibility for all museum operations, administration, and staff at the Museum’s historic two-acre estate. In 1998, when the opportunity arose to become the Development Director and Annual Giving Director at the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, Jane eagerly undertook the task of raising over $3.5 million and overseeing membership activities and programs.
Jane is married to Scott Laudeman and is the proud mother of nine-year-old Donnan. An experienced harpist, Jane is a past winner of the Los Angeles Harp Society competition. She is also actively involved with the Children’s Chain of Children’s Hospital and is a member of the Junior League of Pasadena.
