Pasadena Community Foundation welcomes newest Board Member, Philip V. Swan
The Pasadena Community Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of South Pasadena resident, Philip V. Swan, to be the newest member of its Board of Directors. A graduate of Pomona College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Phil began his career with the investment counsel firm of Clifford & Associates and eventually founded the 23 year-old Pasadena-based investment firm that still bears his name, Philip V. Swan Associates, LLC. In 1999 he developed a new career as a private trustee, consultant and advisor to individuals and family groups regarding investment and financial matters.
He also brings a personal history of significant community engagement. He serves as a Trustee of Scripps College and an Overseer of the Huntington Library. He has also serves on the Board of two local Foundations: the Ann Peppers Foundation and the Forest Lawn Foundation.
